Experienced City Councillor Alicia Denny knows a thing or two about Portsmouth – and how to make change happen.
Alicia grew up in North End and was educated at the old Portsmouth South Grammar School and Highbury College, where she studied journalism.
She then worked as a freelance journalist, writing for the News and other prestsigious titles.
Alicia has long been involved with local organisations: the Boatbuilding College in the dcokyard, the Dockyard Historic Trust, and the Langstone Harbour Board to name a few. She helps out weekly at the local Foodbank.
Alicia is married with three children and two grandsons.
